    Seems that the lightforce 170 variable is still the best compromise of performance and price, I'm in the market for one myself at the moment and think its what ill go for.

    If u put a bit of tape aross the bottom of your oblective bell( obviously don't stick it to the glass) you can block the glare , it will stop a bit of light but not much and doesn't effect your field of view
