usually sell on ebay.co.uk but I had some US(NTSC) games that I wanted to offload so i threw them up on ebay.com.

Now I'm being told that my funds are being withheld until the buyer says everything is ok with the purchase!!

lmao, you're now at the mercy of the honesty of the buyer if you get your funds or not!! All he/she has to say is that they never recieved the game or the game is faulty and I've absolutely zero comeback.

I don't sell on ebay much anymore but everytime I do there's something worse about it. Not only do they take almost 20% between ebay and PP for putting your item in a search engine now this!

Just a warning anyway, I'm sure most people here sell on ebay.ie/ebay.co.uk

ebay/paypal started doing that a couple years ago. I remember buying monitor from UK, the seller was told the same thing, held up the order for about a week. That was the only time it happened.

There is a way around this - see info below :
Are you an established seller? Remove new seller holds
The selling account must be more than 90 days old since the first successful sale of an item.
Example: if you registered to sell 2 years ago, but only completed your first successful sale last month, this account would not be eligible because less than 90 days have passed since the first successful sale.

    1. Enter your established account information.
    2. We'll send you a PIN at the email address on file for your established user ID.
3 Check your email, then enter the PIN on the next page.

That's it! Once you're verified as an established seller, your new account will not be subject to new seller holds.
