waiting on supplementary welfare allowance

    hi guys,

    i had my means test interview two weeks ago after waiting 10 weeks on an appointment and was advised to go and see my local community welfare officer and to bring all of my documents with me ie passport, proof of address etc. now my question is what is the general waiting time for this service? the lady was very helpful and said that she would call when she had reached a decision but that will be two weeks tomorrow and i still have not heard anything back.
    could she have forgotten or has my claim been denied???...stressing quite abit as i actually have nothing coming in at the moment and relying on friend lending me money.

    I would contact them now and explain your situation, don't let it go any longer. Normally SWA is processed fairly quick.
