    Hi can someone please tell me if a safety razor ( the type were the blades are encased in plastic and barely showing ) are ok to carry just 1 in the hand luggage on a long flight were i could freshen up and have a shave during a long stop over. Thanks

    yes you can. As long as the blade is not removable from the plastic, e.g. gillette max 3 razors and such.
