Sometimes: some organisations recruit their staff from their volunteers. And it can be a way to get experience in something you wouldn't be hired for.

What is the best way to find a volunteerjob? I like to do some volunteerwork, also for myself. I like to be active and explore new things. At the moment I am without a job. I am Dutch and living in Ireland.

though really, if you have foreign language skills I'm surprised if you cannot get call-centre work.

I have worked at Hewlett Packard in Leixlip a couple of months but lost the job, because I was not technical enough. Now still looking for another job, also in call centre, but no success so far. Have to improve my technical skills I think.
