Looks nice .. .for a Lotus , and Irish regd. He's certainly a man of few words but if the price is right maybe he feels he doesn't need to say more - next bump of ad will probably have 'no more timewasters' - a 'timewaster' being a potential customer who phones to ask the price, that Trevor Holmes can't be arsed putting on the ad :mad: MORE INFO ON AD = LESS 'TIMEWASTERS' ON PHONE :P:P

rule of thumb, if an add has no price don't bother ringing....usually means the seller is looking for a crazy price!

Thats not true ...... I bought not one but two W124 Mercs over the last two weeks!

Not maybe that it matters, but it was imported in 2008, previous reg was E460FRO been out of tax since Jan '11 and NCT since Feb '12.
There would have been no harm in including this information in the ad.
Would I be wasting my time, or the sellers, wanting to find out some details ?

TBH, I only say the minimum now because I'm fed up with 'what'll ye take - 50% of yer askin price?' AFIC a W220 S-class IS worth money - if I could get a swop even for a LHD one THEN I'd make serious money on the LHD one and feck this countrie's stupid road tax laws

At least he managed to get the photos halfway decent.
The amount of ads I see with photos taken at night, half the car missing from shot, up so close so all you can see is one panel, And then a dozen photos of the tyres and NCT/tax discs.

I get very few phone calls, or timewasters. When I do get an enquiry, they are by and large, genuine buyers. We may not do a deal, but nice genuine people never the less. If I sell 1 a month, I think I am lucky.!!
