    Hi

We are trying to organise our honeymoon and our looking for recommendations for greece. Would it be worth going there in October?

We are limited to a week and budget is tight as well. But if anyone has any other ideas for anywhere in Europe for that time of year!!

    Thanks!

First of all congratulations. Have been to Greece a few times in October. Very nice just darkness falls fairly early. Crete is magnificent, I would head for Chania, Rethymon or Agios Nikolas or anywhere south in the island. A chat with a good travel agent should give you some more ideas.

Crete is still good in October. Expect sunny weather and temps in the mid to high 20's. Very enjoyable conditions overall.

I went to corfu end of september last year an temperatures were in the high 20's- low 30's. It is a lovely island, up north there is a place called canal de l'amour, tunnel of love, great for a secluded swim with your partner.
Its also a really cheap spot too.

Corfu gets very quiet in September..just a heads up ;)

Its beautiful though. Aer Lingus are flying there now on Sundays but a package deal is probably cheaper. (Direct Holidays-Thomson)

It was ok when I was there, but if your on honeymoon I suppose you would want a quiet enough place.....

We got a package deal with Thomson and as I said it was very reasonable
