    Hi, I'm new to the Arts section on Boards :)

    My dad needs to do a project on George Smith, an English furniture designer born 1786. He's having a lot of difficulty finding information on this designer and I could find next to nothing on Google.

    Would anybody be able to recommend any books/websites etc...? There's a particular focus on timber use and preference and design on this project but any help is appreciated!
