Hoping some of those that may have finished there building or almost finished may be able to help give us a visual.

We have 9ft ceilings throughout the downstairs in the house. We're wondering if we should increase the height of the doors and windows accordingly. Normal door is 6ft 8", we were thinking 7ft. I know there is probably extra costs due to large doors but wondering if its worth the expense ?

Have anyone any finished pictures available ? Same applies to the windows and finished height.

    Thanks in advance

working in metric.... any time i specify 2.7 m floor to ceilings, i would have the window heads at at least 2.25.

when it comes to doors, you need to decide if you want to purchase 'off the shelf' sizes, depending whats available to you, or whether you want bespoke doors made up. That decision should dictated your door head heights.
