new chainset advice needed

    hi guys,Im looking for a new chainset for the bike,whats on the bike at present is a shimano sg-x 10S 50-f and the smaller ring is shimano sg-x 9S/10S 34-F,
    Im looking for a new set as some of the cogs are damaged and am looking for recommendations,bike is a madone 4.5 with 105 components,just posting for advice in case I buy the rong set,cheers

    Just replace the chainrings!

    hi,thanks for the reply,yes I meant to refer to the chainrings,will any 50-34 do or do I need a specific type,ie are the threads a standard size.i don't want to be returning a wrong purchase hence the post,cheers

    there are no threads to worry about.
    Look up the chainset code, verify the bcd of both chainrings, order online from your favourite retailer.
    To be safe, visit Shimano Tech Docs, download the pdf for your cranks, the matching code for your rings will be there....
    Google is your friend.
