Yeah pretty much what the title says, I received approval of my grant after a couple of appeals but hopefully no more complications.
Does anyone know how long more I'll be waiting to be paid, got the letter and sent in bank details last week??
    Thanks in advance.

Is it a grant for the coming year?

The reg fees are usually paid directly to the college, did you get a maintenance grant also?

Grant for last year from susi just been taking a while.
Yeah I paid registration so the college will reimburse me for that and susi will pay the rest.
But any idea how long this will take?

I doubt colleges will be doing refunds before the end of September at this stage, but ring them, each college is different. Also ask SUSI if they can process your renewal for this year at the same time.

If this is related to last year then surely SUSI would be paying you all 9 months instalment in 1.

Best thing to do is ring them. If you are not satisfied with how they propose to you then threaten with a complaint to the Ombudsman

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
