Another Kukri for sale. I bought this with a view to keeping it in the collection but something else pretty and sharp has come up and I'm trying to raise some funds! Although I was planning on collecting this it could be a user too! It's a genuine Kukri, handmade in Nepal. Blade is about 13" long and is just under 0.5" thick (at thickest point). I bought this second hand and it doesn't look like it's ever been used.

As I said I'm trying to raise some funds so I'm pricing this to sell at €85. If anyone can meet I'll let it go for €75 as I expect postage on this brute to be at least €10!

Im interested in a kukri, this might be bigger than I was thinking.
Im wondering the quality of made in Nepal products, based on reading up on them and seeing they make them from whatever steel they can aquire, so not sure how they get the carbon content up to keep an edge?

I saw you had a smaller one, also it was at a price I'd prefer, but I couldnt reply and it looks like its sold/closed thread?

I have seen only one kukri that also has a type of finger gaurd at the blade end of the handle which I think would be useful (like a sword, but just enough room to engage/guard a finger and maybe help to give grip but it was online)

Also that kukri has the notch in the blade near the hilt, this has some kind of internal hole/design feature and isnt really the notch to engage another blade, or at least thats what I understood thge notch to be for from reading up on it.

Anything else like the other one you're selling?

Hi Hoplon. I don't know what type of steel is in this Kukri but it is sharp- especially near the handle. Not so sharp around the belly of the knife but it doesn't need to be with the weight behind it.

Sorry, but this one is the only Kukri I have at the moment.

Ok, thats why I was hoping for one with a finger guard near the blade, Ive only seen one like that.

If a six inch one becomes available like the other one or if that becomes available again, if you can pm me.
