Combo 100 euro aprox

    Hava a walker combo it's crap forever having to turn off and on all the time.
    It's keeps freezing. Any one recommend a decent combo for around 100 euro

    If a pvr included in it .... It would be ideal.

    Cush not at home at mo.... Just doing this from work! I picked it over the slightly dearer triax 114 when they came out ...

    They seem to be pretty bulletproof.

    It has come to our attention recently that some peoples Walker WP645TS-HD Saorview Combo have suddenly and unexpectedly being resetting themselves back to factory default or first time install.
    This would be very unusual for a hyper reliable box like the WP645TS-HD.
    We have been told by Walker that the issue is being caused by a rouge Sky TV data transponder on the Astra 2 satellite which is tripping out the Walker boxes and sending them back into first time install mode.
    Walker, Vestel (who make the box) and RTE have been in talks with Sky and the plan is to change the transponder frequency to stop this happening.
    I believe this may have actually already happened (or was due to as of 30th July 2013).
    So I think if you bear with it a little while longer the problem will go away.
    Once the situation is resolved, you can simply programme your box using our channel list and scan the Irish channels again.
    The box is NOT faulty, so there is no point sending it back. The issue is external to the box and will be resolved soon.

    would I be advised to instal this...box year old reset several times

    It's a feature that I don't use tbh so I can't offer you any advice.

    There's a dedicated Ariva 150 thread here - you'll get good advice there.

    I got the Walker WP645TS-HD last week and "upgraded" the firmware to v3.8 which was a disaster. Box was continually freezing and in between was extremely slow. In the end I gave in and reverted back to the v2.9 it came with. I only got it in the first place as the v3.8 had a full week freesat-style epg for the UK satellite channels.

    I havent cancelled my sky sub ... yet.

    Tv trade where I got mine they should be made take it back. I had to get a new one from tony at satellite to replace this piece of junk

    Hi have it set up now irish and free view stations ...can record from TV by pressing the remote record button...but on the epg ...I highlight the program I want to record but it doesn't seem to set up!? Any ideas thanks
