i have been approved for mortgage to complete house build. however i then decided to spend extra money on drylining, heat recovery etc. prob about 15k worth. i was going to downgrade spec of flooring, sanitary wear etc to make up deficit but was wondering if there would be a lot of hassle at his stage to request an extra 15k. i haven't drawn down monies yet but found be whole process of getting approved v drawn out with ++ correspondence and requests for more info prior to approval. paying it back wouldn't be an issue. just stress of approval

You already have a thread on this in the banking forum.

Dont cross post over multiple forums as it will be classed as spam and spammers get muffled which is a most unpleasant experience.
