I'm strongly thinking of driving up to it; probably leave Galway early Sat Morning.
The weather will be the deciding factor for me; if its promised dry its most likely I'll go. Any excuse to hear the howl from the Vulcan!!!!!

Me too - it's a long daytrip from Wexford but am looking forward to it. Weather looks ok too:

Would love this but a bit too far of a trek from Waterford with 2 small guys in tow!

Was there last year good spin up from Kildare just over the 2 hours and that was with the scenic route(wrong turn).
Great display last year even with the low mist and no wind at all to clear the Aerostars smoke. Miss demenouor is a great display and and the display line is nice and close in. Expect much bigger crowds this year with the reds and Vulcan.Use the park and ride at Nortfield an excellent service

    Irish coastguard SAR display 1pm
Helicopter flypast 1.30pm (Air Corps AW139, AAC gazalle and Merlin)
    Full displays 2pm-5pm
I will be up for 11 so as to get a good spot and avoid the traffic jams.

Great shots! I see you were using a 400mm - but where were you situated? I found the flight line a bit too far out for my 200mm! The lighting quality was very variable too, so hard to get exposure/contrast right.

Cheers, I was at the south end of the bay trying to get the sun behind me. Your longer reach helped I guess!
