What would look like today’s Ireland if she had/did accepted to stay in the British crown?

In my humble opinion ROI would be better off in regard of its economic development.

P.S Do not see anything other than the desire to speculate intellectually; in fact I am neither Irish nor British.

Look no further than a few miles up the road. No better off in terms of economic development and an awful lot of hostility to boot.

Would this be the same brittish crown that let a million of it's 'citizens' starve to death and another million flee these shores?

Why do the revisionist unionists always seems to have some view of British imperialism as some kind of benign force? It was rapacious and exploitative and whatever Ireland would look like to day, it would look like the result of whatever policies most benefited the crown regardless of their impact on this Island. Probably we'd look like an exploited and pillaged third world $h1thole.
