    Hi.

The volume seems to be very low whenlistening through headphones. I have tried watching movies on trains but if anyone os talking in the next seats then it is difficult to hear? The boost apps don't appear to do anything for headphones. Anyone know how to to boost the volume?

What kind of headphones have you got? I got one of our wee lads a set of Sony ear buds in Argos, think they were 12 quid, I can hear them on the other side of the table, clearly...

If you have bad/cheap headphones that is a huge drawback. I use in Sennheiser in ear buds, and I was watching something with the missus on a plane recently via an earphone splitter device and she was using some crappy ones. She could barely hear it and it was almost too loud for me.

Thanks for the info. Can MX player be used to view movies rented from the play store ? My movies are viewed from the play movies app. Volume is an issue there

Thanks. I use Sennheiser headphones myself but still find it low when watching movies

Music player must be the issue then. I have not used the play store for movie rentals so can't help there. VLC beta is also available for android if you can select different players, as MX player doesn't work so far on 4.3.
