Sky Update: DD Sound via HDMI enabled...

    Just came down to a Sky box update this morning and one of the options listed was I can now access Dolby Digital via HDMI. :D

    Seems Sky have started rolling this out to all DRX8xx boxes. :cool:

    That has been on most DRX 890's for about 3 months now. There is a newer version available on the DR stream now R007.61.49.00P for the DRX 890.
    This is for people with single boxes to order PPV/Box office products through the internet without the need for a phone connection.

    Yeah, was not aware until I seen the update. Said I would post in case others were also not aware. :o

    I think I got the newer version as it stated about ordering services via the internet and not needing a phone line. :cool:

    Yes that came out back in July, there is a newer version being rolled out at the moment its R008.063.49.08P . If you want it now its available on the DR stream by doing a forced update.

    If I recall its only sky and amstrad boxes that got it.
