Juvenile Warbler? for ID

    This bird "worked" its way between slightly open window and window sill and ended up indoors. :)
    I reckon this is as much a LBJ as any, but I reckon you guys are up to the challenge :) More pics in next post

    There appears to be emargination of the first 6 primary wing feathers which would make it a Chiffchaff.... I think....

    I don't understand bird lingo :) and this is not in my dictionary....

    I have not even attempted to ID this. The brown crown leading me to Blackcap, but jizz (I know some lingo :)) is not like Blackcap.

    Yep, it is juvenile/female Blackcap. First pic had me thinking Garden Warbler for a moment.

    I'll go with Blackcap too - had it in my head it was either Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler.

    Juvenile Blackcaps can be sexed in the nest or when fledged. Dull versions of adults
