i hope someone could help me with this as i'm not really sure what to do.

i wanted to turn right on a staggered crossroad with a small box junction for turning right. the right arrow on the box is pointing where i want to go.

Light is red and im first in line but the car on the opposite direction wants to turn right which is the opposite side the small box junction is closer on their side when the light turns green i've noticed even though they don't stop on the box (stop just outside) they need to cross the box as they turn, and i need to stop as well till i can make my final turn, on this situation do i move when the lights turn green (and move the same time as that car and wait few seconds until they clear the box or do i need to wait on the line on the traffic and just wait for them?

    thanks

Can you find this junction on Google maps and add a link to it
It's hard to give advice without knowing the junction concerned

Ok as you say road markings aren't clear. Tell me if you coming from amber and opposite car drove into junction and sat side by side could ye not turn once the other traffic didn't queue up behind ye. From the photo this looks possible

hi motor ed thanks for trying to help me and sorry if im confusing you. normally i could enter the box without any obstruction from the other side. i tried to see if i can do side to side turn yesterday but on road lay out my car and the other car will be head to head on approach and yesterday the other car needs to wait for clear gap to complete his turn and stop just outside the small box, so i slowed down as i cant enter the box and stopped just a second or two a good distance from the box until he completed his turn and then i went on the box and completed my turn when it was safe for me to do it. im not really sure if what i did is right or wrong. i'll probably asked my husband to take a picture of the road when pass through it this weekend

Ok think I got a better idea what's happening
If you're meeting head on then there is no point in you blocking each other and you're right o sit back if you're there second, I mean just short of shopping centre entry point
I'm presuming its controlled by lights
Therefore if there was no oncoming traffic I would proceed passenger side to car sitting in junction and complete before other car
Does this make sense to you
Again I'm making some presumptions here as I don't know the area
