Hi all, after 2 months of creeping in this forum, Ive finally decided to commit into building a new computer. My previous p.c's were DELL manufactured and I have reasonable idea in how to build a computer. :)

The main purpose of the build is for computer gaming in particular, Rome Total War 2. I'd like a computer that can play this game on ultra settings with relative ease. I intend to use it for other games in the near future.

    1. What is your budget?- €1400

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming- Rome 2 total War, Men of War etc...

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes, just Windows 7.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] -Nope

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No]- Have an LG digital tv that supports 1920x1080.

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]-N/A

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] Maybe, current monitor supports 1080 however its 4 years old. So I may upgrade later on.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] a) Speakers b) wireless adaptor.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No]- Yes, however at a later date.

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]- Laser/bank trasfer

    9. When are you purchasing? [In x days]. ASAP

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Dublin

    Preference's
I understand that Creative Assembly (makers of rome 2) worked with Intel during the making of Rome 2. According to forums, Intel i7, is the best CPU to maximise the gameplay. Could be lies, but I'd prefer an I7 CPU as oppose to an I5 (Ivy) depending upon people's opinion in the matter.

I also have my eye on the Nonoxia deep silence (http://www.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=68207&agid=631). Do I need any additional fan's or should this case suffice with regards to Cooling and sound?

Thanks in advance for any help. I really appreciate the help.
