If you could choose between the below with the view of SLI'ing in a few months which of the below would you pick.

The aim it to be able to play games on a 1440 Monitor at the highest possible setting.

    ( N780OC-3GD ) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Overclocked with WINDFORCE 3GB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €550.04
    ( N780-TF-3GD5/OC ) MSI NVIDIA GTX 780 GAMING 902MHz 6008MHz 3072MB 384-bit DDR5 HDMI DVI-I DP TF FAN PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD @ €508.01
    ( N780D5-3GD-B ) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 3GB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €503.51
    ( 04G-P4-3687-KR ) EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Superclocked Signature 2 Edition 4096MB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI-I DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort @ €459.5
    ( 02G-P4-3686-KR ) EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW 2GB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €415.5
    ( 04G-P4-3778-KR ) Evga GeForce GTX 770 Classified 4GB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €410.42
    ( GV-N680OC-4GD ) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 Overclocked 4GB Graphics Card DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €397.72
( 02G-P4-2683-KR ) EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Superclocked Signature Edition 2GB Graphics Card DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €392.64
    ( GV-N680SO-2GD ) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 Super Overclocked 2GB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €363.34
    ( 04G-P4-3673-KR ) EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW 4GB Graphics Card DisplayPort HDMI DVI @ €359.65
    ( N770 TF 4GD5/OC ) MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX770 Gaming Graphics Card 4096GB GDDR5 1137MHz DVI DisplayPort HDMI @ €346.96
    ( GV-N670OC-4GD ) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Overclocked 4GB Graphics Card PCI-E DVI HDMI DisplayPort @ €338.5

Current setup is below and I'm only managing 20fps when playing Arma 3 on 1440 at ultra settings ( not online yet ).

    Qnix 1440 Monitor
Cooler Master CM Storm Enforcer - USB3
    MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard
    i5 (4670K) CPU
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB
    G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) Ripjaws-X DDR3 2133MHz
    EVGA 750W PSU
Samsung SSD 120GB 840 PRO Series SATA
    WD 1TB CAVIAR BLUE
    Windows 8

    Any feedback is welcome.

Remember Arma 3 is still in beta and is probably not fully optimised yet or is as poorly optimised as arma 2 was.

    Have you overclocked anything yet?

Cheapest option would be to get a second 660gtx. This would give you about 80-90% more performance. SLI has good scaling. I'd go with this myself for now.

A single 780 is still going to have issues with some games at 1440p.

If you want even more performance I'd go with a pair of 760gtx which will outperform a titan.

In the process of stress testing, figures are at home but I got 4.5ghz at I think 1.19v (9hrs test), need to run 4-5 more times to confirm all is ok.

4.6ghz is ok for 2-3 hrs at I think 1.215v then crashes, temps were peaking at 80 deg C I think so couldn't increase the v, averaging at 60deg.

Reckon if I can improve cooling I could stabelize at 4.6ghz, not sure if I should try or settle at 4.5ghz which isn't too bad for the 4670K.

What cooler you have? That sounds like a good 4670k tbh. Hitting 90 under synthetic load shouldn't worry you, gaming won't push it that hard.

Price are correct, converted from sterling to euro and then increased by 23% for vat.

Guy I'm buying them from is doing me a favour.

Using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler.

Checked my figures and 4.6ghz, crashed on all the below.

1.20, 1.205, 1.21, 1.215, 1.22 and then 1.225 which was when it hit a max of 80deg, was ok for 2+3hrs, overnight test crashed it.

1st time to overclock so don't want to over do it and fry the chip, I said I'd accept 80 as max and didn't want to push. Read not to exceed 1.3v so I know I could up the V if only I could keep the heat down.
Wondering if I should remove the cooler clean CPU and re apply thermal paste ( spread this time and not blob in centre ).Maybe one day, wanna enjoy the pc for a while without having any down time. Other option is to delid but that's taking it a little to far for me I think, I'll stick with 4.5ghz.

Gonna test again tonight at 4.5 with 1.19v and see if it passes again, temps were around 44 - 77 average of 61.2.

4.5ghz on haswell with a 212 evo is great. Most people only get that on ivy.

    Well I won't suggest delidding then :D
