    How's it goin, 19 year old bass player looking to join an originals band, initially casual but could become more serious depending on reception. Kind of looking for something with some drive to the sound at the moment, similar to The Vines at their heaviest, example below. NOTE: I really am not your standard bass player into all the pretty scales and whatnot, I like to throw a gritty sound into any mix, not afraid to experiment, the influences further below will kind of give you an idea I hope!

    That said, I'm not fussy and love a challenge when it comes to bouncing off of other sounds to see if I can fit mine in too, I'm an intermediate bass player and solely at that, capable of backup vox but not ultimately confident in that as of yet.

    In terms of influences, I'm extremely fond of a distorted signal on my bass, similar to Death From Above 1979. Fond of hard rock too. My prior band experience is with a 5 piece with only one guitarist and a synth so, something with two guitarists, such as a four piece or even a three piece if the sound clicks! A big, fat, rough distorted sound with powerful vocals is the kind of band I'd be most attracted to at the moment.

    PM me if you've got something in mind, kinda looking for people around my age group 18-22. I can assure no time wasting, if we don't click, we don't click and that's all that can be done, but sure it's always good fun to at least jam at the end of the day!
