just a quick reminder, back up your bloody computer regularly

arrived in Monday morn to see the blue screen of death facing me, (farm computer with all financials, performance and emails), after a bit of panicking and a fair few phone calls, i have got it all sorted, cost a few quid, new hard-drive, repair cost etc,
luckily most thing could be retrieved, but back up history was very poor, herd program was the only thing backed up regularly.

    so, get it done!!

    Excellent advice!
Glad you got it sorted :D

Aside from backing up pretty much everything on external drives, I also duplicate the REALLY important stuff (financial records, accounts stuff, management records, etc) to Google Drive. At least that way, even if everything here is destroyed (including the external drives/discs), the vital stuff still exists somewhere.
