Im self employed,first year making a tax return...roughly 24,000 earned threw the year.How much roughly should i be expecting to pay?? Can i offset vat from diesel? cheers

Dunno OP, I'd imagine it depends on whether you're VAT reg'ed or not. I do know one thing, tho. You can offset the cost of an accountant

If you're VAT reg you can recover VAT on diesel (not petrol)

How much income tax you will pay depends on your personal circumstances. Just google tax calculators for a rough idea.
