noob question

    Lads i was asked to back a horse today for a friend. The horse is running thursday in galway. Anyway i could'nt find the odds so i asked as i was placing the bet. She said she was unsure what the odds were. She took the bet anyway.

    My question is the horse is as i found out later 20/1. Will i get that price or the price it goes off at

    If you didn't put a price down you will get whatever the starting price is.

    If you go in tomorrow before the decs are made & explain you might get somewhere i.e. they might write the price on even though you placed the bet today

    thanks for the help, wonder what are the chances of them changing, fair chunk of money on the horse
