Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped working

    Hi all,

    I have a GoTab 10" and during the last week when I open Google Play I get the message "Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped working" then I am reverted back to the home screen.

    I have tried numerous things such as:
    -Disabling and enabling the app
    -uninstalling all the updates
    -clearing the cache and data
    -removing google account and adding it back
    -restarting the tablet

    I have searched google and it seems to be a common occurrence but there are no other solutions other than the ones I have already tried.

    Has anyone had this problem or know anything else I can try?

    Have you done a factory reset?

    Try clearing the data and cache for Google Play Services

    Thanks for the replies.

    I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do a factory reset as I just got everything to the way I wanted it on the tablet....and pizzahead77 I have already tried that.
