Toasting oats - storage

    Hi all,

The only way I like oats is toasted or in flapjack form.

I love greek yoghurt for breakfast but want to bulk it up a bit, so I want to try toasting oats.

I just want to know really how long will they keep if I do it? Should I use an airtight container?

    Many thanks!

I store them in an airtight container for a week or more. I make granola using date puree and peanut butter and loads of nuts

That's pretty good, I could just do a batch every week or ten days! :)

I think the key is to keep them in an airtight container. The less air that gets at them the less likely they will be to get soggy.
