    Hello,

Bit of a strange one, but can anyone recommend a pub/restaurant in co.clare that does really nice(and good portions) of mussels? :)

    Thanks

My favourite place to enjoy seafood is 'Morans on the Weir' (Kilcolgan).

If you want nice mussels, you should do lots of press-ups :)

    Won't work. You'll still be hungry. :)

Just been to Gallaghers of Bunratty and did indeed get the mussels as a starter and they where fantastic. And the monkfish was none too shabby either.

+1 for Linanne's in New Quay.

I ate there this week and I was very impressed. We could actually see the fish being unloaded from the boat as we were ordering dinner. If you like good seafood, this is a great spot and it's reasonably priced too.
