Was changing the diesel filter on my car and got a good bit of diesel on my hands. I couldn't believe how it started to give my hand a burning sensation straight away. Is this normal?

Mm to me it just smells and feels oily. But then I wouldn't be the most sensitive soul

Sound I thought it would be oily as it is a lubricant. The car is running fine but then it will as its an old mk2 golf diesel that will run on any crap

Oh f*ck that! The horror of it. I have annoyingly oversensitive eyes anyway, get irritated by even a bit of dust let alone diesel. It's happened before and not nice
