My family and I will be in Clonakilty for a week or so in the next few weeks and we are looking for a few suggestions for day trips / things to see. We were there for a short break last year and absolutely loved it but we have been to the railway village, the beaches etc. The kids are 2 & 4 and we don’t mind a bit of a drive.

Would also love some take away recommendations as we are self catering but not so inclined to cook every night

A spin down to mizzen head is worth a trip, beautiful area has beaches nearby
