Just noticed my location is launching between July and Sept 2013.
Seems strange given i am not in a urban area or along a main roadway.

    How accurate are these maps?

Depends on which maps your looking at.
The Eircom maps refer to an exchange footprint area as being upgraded to fibre but not everyone in that footprint will be able to get it.

Your proximity to an existing cab that's going to be upgraded will determine whether you get it or not.

The nearest new install cab that shows up on google maps is 1km away, Thats not to say there are'nt one's much closer its just i haven't been looking out for them as i previously did not fall under the coverage area.

This is the initial map i was referring to : http://www.eircom.net/efibreinfo/map/

Check this map if you haven't already.

    What exchange are you on?

hmm, that map shows my area as being able to receive e-fibre now, but I've been told by Magnet ( who are waiting on Eircom) that its not
