Sorry guys, posted this in DIY.

Maybe here is more appropriate to continue...

Someone, something rubbed off the car....

Coming at it cold, what do ye think is the best way to get it out? Can faintly catch it with my finger nail.

In terms of least aggressive option to must aggressive option, what approach should I take? I may be jumping the gun with thinking wetsanding. In any event, time is not an issue, I am willing to go through the process of least aggressive onwards... even starting with some APC, which I know won't work, but I will do it anyway just to kick off the process.

BMW, hard paint also. I can only guess what grit level it would take... could go to 1,500... how would I get those out with a DA, or would I... maybe I should stop at... 2000 paper?

More appropriate that it goes in Detailing section...

Doesn't seem to be an option to delete thread have started.. apologies for duplication..

You wont get it out...but you might be able to round the edges of the scratch which will make it less obvious. Wouldn't go wet sanding it, but a few passes with a DA will make it a lot better.

Chill man!! If you don't have a D/A, bring it to Detailing Shed and let them have a go. They will more than likely get rid of at least 70% of it.
