I know this is a long shot as I'm going on a 'sun holiday' but has anyone been to Turkey - Kusadasi to be precise - have any recommendations on what to drink whilst over there? Tried googling for craft beers over there but didn't get much results.

I went to Kusadasi many years ago and remember drinking 1. Tuborg 2. Efes.

Apparently Taps is one of the bigger craft breweries in Turkey. You might even be able to find it in supermarkets. Search for that, perhaps.

What BeerNut and minidazzler said :)

Just remember, it's the same strength as vodka and the like. I shared a bottle of it with a mate over dinner in Istanbul in April. With water added I assumed it was similar in potency to wine... it is not.

Alcohol is getting very expensive in Turkey. The hardline muslim government have upped the sin taxes associated with it and are regulating it strongly. Wine in particularly is stupidly priced.
