hello all,looking to change the tractor,at the min we have a case 895 4wd good enough yolk could do eith a little more horses and also looking for something with a loader,i see a very clean same 100.4 ,its 2002 and has around 2400hrs on her,nice tidy loader aswell,has anyone here got the same, any good points or bad,or…

front axle pivot should be checked for wear and kept well greased, and gearlinkage needs to be well oiled and adjusted for very little slack but not stiff, u should be able to feel the gear being taken like in a car.

i like them and have heard of only those two problems, the linkage can lead to gearbox problem but from what i was told 1000stering rebuilds the box. woul also go for all manual as the left handle shuttle was issues with it in early tractors.
