Trading in a car/ no registration cert

    Apologies if this has been asked before/ is a stupid question..

    I want to try and trade in my car in the next few days but my replacement registration cert has not yet arrived. Does anyone know what is the likelihood of a dealer accepting the car without this?

    They usually post out replacements quickly so explain it to the dealer than drop it into them as soon as you get it. Shouldn't be a big deal for them.
