Hi all got some info on the above but looking at taking wife & 2 kids (16 & 14) for 7 days what are the best places to stay/visit? Not bothered about night life, more sight seeing scenery etc.

Will probably make one place a base, hotel family room rather than moving around so where do people recommend? Is it better to fly from UK.

Should I book through an agent or do seperately on internet.

    Any advice much appreciated.

We went probably 8 years ago now, stayed in Kotor, was a nice place - think we flew Dublin to Dubrovnik and hired a car and drove down -

rented a car from dubrovnik and drove down to kotor recently, was blown away by the bay of kotor, absolutely gorgeous! we spent a day strolling around the old town and driving around the place. we didn't make it to budva but thats more on the coast and is supposed to be the main beach area. from reading the lonely planet book it seems they're mad into blasting the techno music in kotor old town at night so you might want to take that into consideration!!
