Jesus, this place is like a morgue at the moment! There is tumbleweed blowing across the King George thread, even though the event is only 2 days away; the Galway thread is dying on it's feet and now we have Mars running at Leopardstown (19.20) tonight with ne'er a mention from anyone! I certainly won't be backing him…

Jesus, this place is like a morgue at the moment! There is tumbleweed blowing across the King George thread, even though the event is only 2 days away; the Galway thread is dying on it's feet and now we have Mars running at Leopardstown (19.20) tonight with ne'er a mention from anyone!

I certainly won't be backing him (8/13 virtually everywhere) but will watch with interest and if he's ever going to win on turf, it will surely be tonight. I think O'Brien did the right thing (dropping him from Group 1 to 3) and he should get a confidence-boosting win before moving back to Group 1 or 2 races.
