Has anybody ever had a smartphone screen crack on them by itself? Went to answer a call and before I could a little flash of light went across the screen and where it flashed there is now a hairline crack (and under the crack there seems to be a slight burn mark), right from top to bottom of the screen??? Only have the phone 2 weeks as well so kinda gutted!!

Sounds like a manufacturing defect, Google it, see if any other places showing same problem, print em off and bring them to where you bought, chances are they are aware of the defect and may swap it for ya...

Yes have googled it and this seems to be a big problem among the Iphone and Galaxy S3. I need a phone for work so if I bring it back will they give me a phone for the time being? The phone was on charge as well when it happened so I am thinking a sudden change of temperature made this happen, it literally cracked in my hand
