With this warm summer there are serious flies on the bags of my dry cows(dairy). I have done them with flypor and it has helped a little, but wud like to know what you all use to keep them wee buggers away from the udders on the warm humid days??

Was helping a fella last week who was spraying them with dip

    What sort of dip?

I have put "flypor" pour on on them for the flies and in normal years it works well, but in this heat its struggling, so need something more.

Got the gloves on and put on the Stockholm tar tonight. Quite like the smell of it!! How often do I need to reapply this?
