VRT website - which model??

    Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of heading to the UK to get a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso. As part of the research I'm looking at the revenue's online VRT calculator to get an idea what the VRT charge will be. In the drop-down box to select the model, two of the options are as follows:

    1.6HDI 16V VTR+ 110BHP 5DR
    and
    1.6HDI VTR+ 16V 5DR 110BHP

They're exactly the same, just in a different order. I'd was going to just put it down to a glitch and plough ahead, but the top one comes in at about €500 more. Seems daft, is there something I'm missing?

I can just imagine bringing the car in, hoping to get the better price (€2146), but coming across some bureaucrat who happens to have selected the other option and won't listen to reason.
Any advice on how to proceed?
    thanks

Different emissions I'd imagine, compare with the figure on the v5 cert.

Ok, thanks. On further examination, I do see that the more expensive one does say the CO2 emissions are 145, compared to 140 for the cheaper one.

I'm just looking at cars on Autotrader for the moment, and on the vehicle summary tab all the ones I've looked at say 140 g/km.
So I guess this means it's reasonable safe to assume these would be in the cheaper category?

Revenue will go by the Co2 rating that is on the car's V5 registration document.

Grand, thanks - guess I just have to hope that what is stated on Autotrader is accurate, guess its one of the questions to ask on the phone.

The autotrader data can often be wrong.
