Is my gearbox dead?

Whilst driving to work today my car started acting up. It happened when I was changing from 2nd to 3rd gear. It's as if the geaes are not connecting properly. My car feels jumpy and I have to put my foot all the way down on the accelerator to speed up. The car isn't making any strange noises whilst driving. I don't know if it's connected but when I stop and turn the engine off the fan continues to run. I am driving a 01 opel corsa. I bought it in April and have only driven 2000 km since buying it.
Any help would be really appreciated as I rely on my car due to my location and lack of public transport.

It may be the clutch. If you just push the clutch pedal slightly does the car stop moving? Does it rev up when you hit a hill and go nowhere?

Possibly a broken spring on the clutch plate. A new clutch should cure the problem.

How much would a new clutch cost?

It depends on where you get it done but I can't imagine it being more than €400 for parts and labour. Get a few quotations from different places.
