    "All glass in Cab"
But for how long?? I've a mate with one and he loves it, but the cabs rot like hell.. Check it out well.. Unless you can do a bit of work with a tig welder repairs are slow work, slow work is usually expensive !

That series where a bit of a disaster to be honest. We had one back in the early 90's cab rotted away on it doors where rotten to the core and we had to seal up the sunroof to stop it froom leaking.. steering was alway hard to keep right on it too.. not a bad tractor for doing a few jobs around the yard... wouldn't rate it for heavy work doh..

Had one for a couple of years-it broke my heart! Every week seemed to show up a new problem. Local farmer also had one and had same experience as me. From talking to a few mechanics (who I got to be on great terms with while having the 690 :P) the 600 series were diabolical!

Hi there, im a massey fan and love the look of the 600 series , but they are notorious for rot and cabs are quite hard to get hold off as far as I know. What requirements do you have for a tractor and what is your rough budget ,

The cab on the Landini is different - most were zinc coated.

The cab wasn't made in Italy but by GKN Sankey in the UK, the problem was its construction.

NBF as well as the usual things, watch out for rust and more rust as the lads said.

Also, check if it is multi power or Synchro 12 with Synchro 12 being preferred.

The wheels look small on that - 30''?? - most came on 34'' if 16.9's so bear it in mind if you have lots of roadwork.

well, funny now. im looking at it for someone else.. . . they live on the coast, and im thinking, machinery is hard enough to keep with out it been prone to rust already.
Tractor will go to a farm with about 7 or 8 plots of land, all around 2 mile radius. needs to pull a welger baler, P12 i think it is, lift bales,. wrap them. . . . this man has his own baler and wrapper. for baling around 60 bales a yr.

ud be waiting weeks for a contractor to come cut/bale/wrap. . . its that far from a lot of farmers. + his land runs along the sea. . ..
