Hope its ok to do this, any thoughts on the car and dealership below. Its a little beyond my budget but think I may be able to stretch a bit to it.

Did some research on the net but its hard to get anything concrete. What definite questions should I ask? Are there any typical flaws for this kind of car. eg problem with the clutch after 50,000 miles etc.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

one thing I learned. Never buy an Opel some people may like them that's fine but my experience Opel Vivaro injector failure 2005 Opel Astra same model as yours repeated warning light on the dash and wouldn't start one day for some reason and then it once died on me at the traffic lights I had to get a tow back home. If I were you I wouldn't risk it. But if you like them then buy it it's your money I won't argue with you. Good luck.

    I didn't buy an Opel I bought a vauxhall :D ha.

I'm happy enough with it no problems and there is plenty parts if something does go wrong. I've done over 10000 miles in mine. Mine is the cdti 150 so I can't say anything about the running gear/engine of that car as its probably different to mine.

They are known for timing chain problems and the engine itself isn't all that powerful. I'd go for another engine if you're set on one.

Really? Are poles that bad? Anything you would recommend with similar engine size and budget? I had a 1980 Merc ce280 but was just getting too expensive to run as I am going to be doing some cross city commuting come September and my girlfriend is learning to drive so looking for something pretty small with an engine that won't break the bank.

By the way went to see the car. Not gonna buy
