Do any Magnet representatives still frequent these forums? Thing is I've tried e-mailing them, calling them and I'm still no closer to figuring out why I can't get any connection. So yeah, I've become pretty desperate now.

Remember there was a guy called Rory who worked for them and used to be on the forums quite regularly, he seemed pretty helpful, wouldn't mind talking to someone like him. Well, being able to talk to anyone from Magnet would be quite welcome at this stage.
