There's a store in Eyre Square in Galway that do SIM free phones, they have a website here, no idea what they're like though!

Use amazon.co.uk and send it to your address or parcel motel. At least you know the phone isnt stolen and they have good customer service.

Really, who cares if they are Irish or not? Neither is amazon.

While amazon might be better for the big brand name phones from Samsung, I find Expansys.ie carry many very good cheaper phones that amazon don't.

    For example:
    Acer Liquid E2 Duo €210 https://www.expansys.ie/acer-liquid-e2-duo-black-249885/

    Huawei Ascend P1 €197 https://www.expansys.ie/huawei-ascend-p1-black-228060/

Acer Liquid Gallant Duo €165 https://www.expansys.ie/acer-liquid-gallant-duo-black-234432/

Actually, even the HTC One is actually a few euros cheaper on expansys then Amazon!

It is only the Samsungs that seem to be cheaper on amazon.

I would certainly check both sites for whatever phone you are interested in.

But be prepared for expansys requesting an utility bill before they send you a phone.

Yes, looks like one of the best value for money phones on the market. Just pity it isn't dual sim!

Not a big deal and only happens if you pay via paypal using an unconfirmed mailing address.
