Gluten-Free Bean Pastas

I was reading a post on Stone Soup this morning and mung bean pasta was mentioned in a recipe, as a gluten-free alternative.

A bit of digging revealed that there are also black bean and soy bean pastas. They're apparently lower carb than regular pasta, gluten-free of course, and higher in protein and fibre.

Sounds promising, but has anyone here tried it? Can it be bought in Ireland or would it need to be ordered online? I'm also wondering whether the amount of processing involved to create such a product might be a bad thing!

You can get mung bean noodles in Asian shops. I get rice noodles and corn noodles. I'm going to seek out sweet potato noodles next
