    Looking for some advice on this. Friend received a letter informing him that he was no longer disqualified from driving and that he should bring the letter he received to the Motor Taxation Office (MTO) or forward the letter to the MTO to reclaim his licence. Here is the thing, he was never informed he was disqualified. According to the letter he was informed of this disqualification earlier this year but never received it and has been driving ever since. He is not 100% sure of the amount of points he has but does not think it exceeds the 12 points where disqualification kicks in. He also has his license in his possession. So what should he do, does he need to contact the MTO and ask what is going on or does he need legal advice. A ban now would have serious consequences for him.
