Galaxy Tab2 10.1 issues

Recently got one of these.
Have had an ipad for ages and I have to say galaxy is muck.

I have a Galaxy S3 phone and it's fab so I dunno whats up?

There is a 3+ second delay when you tap a text field before keyboard appears...several taps are normally required.
Normally cant see text field Im typing in once keyboard is visible (screen moves up)
Many sites wont display content (ie eBay item descriptions...listings are fine but not actual items)
Long delay in boot up process
There appears to be a time lag delay in everything that happens..


Anyone else have issues?

From my limited knowledge of these things, speed is often affected by software problems.

I don't have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1in tablet but I might suggest that you run antivirus and see what happens.

You could use Avast or McAfee. Lookout is supposed to be good but I haven't used it. Trustgo gets an excellent review here.

You could also check the data usage and battery usage of your apps, and see if there is anything suspicious.

And I haven't heard bad things about the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1.

I have one and its grand although when typing lately the txt dissapears behind the keyboard which is fcuking annoying cos you cant see what your typing... it wasnt like that when i got it first so i dont know what storry is

I'm really happy with mine. Have you tried doing a factory reset and see if that sorts it out. Mine boots up fairly quickly with very little lag actually. Maybe a second before the keyboard pops up. You running low on storage?

Are you using swype or the stock keyboard? There are usually three different styles. One that fills the bottom of the screen, one that splits the keyboard in two to suit your hands on the side of the tablet and a smaller version that's actually moveable. That might be the one covering up the text.

Are you using swype or the stock keyboard? There are usually three different styles. One that fills the bottom of the screen, one that splits the keyboard in two to suit your hands on the side of the tablet and a smaller version that's actually moveable. That might be the one covering up the text.
