HI All. looking for some advice.

I got one of these on the bike to work scheme for a 5km cycle to work every day. That was fine untill we changed locations and its a 20km each way cycle.

I am enjoying the extra distance, but i think i need some mods to the bike to make things a bit easier.

I have changed the handle bars to touring bars, this was easy and has given me an extra hand position when i get some speed up.

I want to put smaller tyres on, i saw a similar bike on the train with smaller tyres and am looking do the same.

does anyone know how small i can go for and if there is any down side to doing this?
